APPROACH TO THERAPY

"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Therapeutic approaches I use include

  • Relational

  • Psychodynamic

  • Object Relations

  • Multicultural

  • Trauma-informed

I think about healing as

  • Connecting to different parts of yourself

  • Living into your unique self

  • Being open and curious of others’ unique selves

During session

We’ll talk about your thoughts, relationships with others, and experiences in your body. I believe the healing process evolves as we make connections between past and present lived experiences. The hope in this process is that you may find a sense of belonging and let go of what may be holding you back.

Healing is such a personal journey. In some ways, it’s hard to talk about what that looks like because we have such unique paths to walk, but these are some of the foundations I hold onto as I think about joining you in your journey.

You can find healing and forgiveness, you can find joy, you can find deep connection. I see it every day and it inspires me.

Take that first step - there is space for you. You are wanted here.
